For generations, people have opened English Scripture translations believing they were reading the Word exactly as it was originally written. Yet many serious students eventually begin asking deeper questions such as:
What did the earliest manuscripts actually say? Why were original names changed? How much did Greek and later religious tradition influence the English translations we inherited? And is it possible to get closer to the original Hebrew and Aramaic Scriptures, which are the languages the Savior spoke?
Those questions are at the heart of the Truth Scriptures Project.
The Truth Scriptures were created for people who want to go beyond religious tradition and examine the Scriptures as closely as possible to their original linguistic, historical, and Scriptural foundations.
Restoring the Name YAHUAH
One of the most immediately noticeable differences in the Truth Scriptures is the restoration of the Name YAHUAH.
In many conventional English translations, readers encounter substitute titles where the four Hebrew letters יהוה (modern Hebrew), pronounced as YAHUAH, appear in the Hebrew text. As a result, millions of readers can spend their entire lives studying Scripture without realizing how frequently the Creator's personal Name appears in the source text.
The Truth Scriptures take a different approach.
Rather than replacing His Name with a traditional (pagan) substitute, the translation restores YAHUAH throughout the text where His Name is represented.
This is not merely a formatting preference. Names matter throughout Scripture. They identify people, preserve history, communicate meaning, and distinguish the One being spoken about.
For readers seeking to know the Creator by His Name, restoring YAHUAH's Name fundamentally changes the reading experience.
Going Back to Hebrew and Aramaic Sources
The Truth Scriptures Project was not designed simply to revise the wording of another modern English Bible.
The translation work involves examination of ancient Hebrew and Aramaic textual witnesses and manuscript traditions, including sources such as the Dead Sea Scrolls, Samaritan Pentateuch, Leningrad Codex, Aleppo Codex, Cairo Codex, and other relevant textual evidence.
For the Bariyt Hadash (New Testament), particular attention is given to the Aramaic Peshitta. This is was the common commerce language spoken in Yisharal (Israel) during the time of the Savior. Hebrew was the language spoken in the "Temple" when the Scriptures were read and observed.
Why does that matter?
Every layer of translation creates the possibility that vocabulary, names, idioms, cultural concepts, and shades of meaning can become obscured. The goal of the Truth Scriptures is therefore to examine the underlying textual evidence rather than simply perpetuating wording because it became familiar through centuries of religious tradition.
The Ta’anak (OT) and Bariyt Hadash (NT)
The Truth Scriptures are presented in two major portions.
The Ta’anak contains the writings commonly called the Old Testament, while the Bariyt Hadash contains the writings commonly called the New Testament.
They are also available together in the Complete Truth Scriptures (for campaign package supporters at TSINFO.org), allowing readers to study the Scriptural record as one connected message.
Throughout these editions, readers will encounter restored names and terminology that may initially look unfamiliar. That is intentional. We give you access to a word list link that is located inside of the Truth Scriptures Books.
The objective is not familiarity for familiarity's sake. The objective is to help readers investigate what was actually written and understand the people, places, names, and teachings within their original Scriptural context.
Why Are So Many Names Different?

Many names familiar to English readers have traveled through multiple languages before reaching their modern English forms.
The Truth Scriptures seek to remove unnecessary layers of linguistic tradition and restore names underlying Hebrew or Aramaic forms.
This means readers may encounter names and book titles that differ from those found in conventional English translations (we give you the commonly used names beside the real names.
At first, that can require adjustment.
But something important begins happening as readers continue studying: the restored terminology starts connecting passages that previously appeared disconnected. Names become meaningful (many Hebrew words have distinct meanings). Hebrew relationships become easier to recognize. Patterns throughout the Scriptures become more visible.
Instead of forcing the ancient text into familiar modern religious vocabulary, the Truth Scriptures encourage readers to become familiar with the world of the Scriptures themselves.
More Than Replacing Names
The Truth Scriptures Project is not simply about replacing familiar names with Hebrew ones.
Translation decisions matter.
Individual words can affect doctrine, interpretation, and the way a reader understands an entire passage. That is why the project examines grammar, textual context, source manuscripts, ancient language usage, and the consistency of terminology throughout Scripture.
Where the underlying text supports a particular meaning, the objective is to communicate that meaning clearly in modern English without unnecessarily imposing later religious terminology upon it.
The result is intended to be readable enough for everyday study while remaining serious about the ancient textual foundation.
Understanding YAHUAH Mashiyha (Messiah/Savior)
Another major area of study within the Truth Scriptures concerns the identity of YAHUAH Mashiyha.
The Scriptures present a remarkable promise in Yisha'aiyahu (Isaiah) 9:6:
"In the future, a Child will be born to us: a Son will be given to us. All authority will be on His Shoulders. He will be called the Wonderful Counselor, Powerful Aluah, Eternal Father, and Prince of Peace. For a Child will be born to us, a Son will be given to us; and the government will rest upon His shoulder. His Name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty Aluah, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”
The Truth Scriptures examine passages such as this alongside the Bariyt Hadash (NT) rather than approaching them through later religious assumptions.
Likewise, 1 Tiymutiy (1 Timothy) 3:16 describes the extraordinary mystery of Aluah being revealed in flesh:
“Without question or controversy, the mystery of Aluah is great. He was revealed in the flesh as a human, declared righteous by the Spirit, seen by the Messengers, preached throughout the nations, believed in around the world, and was taken back up in Esteem.”
These and many other passages are important to understanding the Scriptural presentation of YAHUAH, His manifestation in flesh, and the identity of the Mashiyha (Messiah/Savior).
The goal is to allow Scripture to explain Scripture.
Removing the Filter of Religious Tradition
Many people inherit their understanding of Scripture before they ever investigate its textual history.
Certain words, names, doctrines, and expressions become so familiar that they can seem as though they must have appeared exactly that way in the ancient manuscripts.
But familiarity and antiquity are not the same thing.
The Truth Scriptures encourage readers to ask:
What does the text actually say?
That question guides the project.
Rather than asking how a passage can be made to agree with a particular denomination or religious tradition, the priority is to examine the available textual evidence and allow that evidence to guide the translation.
Designed for Serious Study—and Everyday Reading

Accuracy is important, but a translation that is difficult to read has limited usefulness for everyday life. Confusing translations cannot lead to Eternal Life.
That is why the Truth Scriptures were also designed with readability and clarity in mind.
Readers can use them for:
- Daily Scripture reading and study
- Research into Hebrew and Aramaic terminology
- Comparing passages across the Ta’anak (OT) and Bariyt Hadash (NT)
- Studying the Name YAHUAH
- Learning restored Scriptural names (3,600 names of people and places properly translated into plain English)
- Studying YAHUAH's Commandments and Appointed Times
- Family and group Scripture study
- Deeper investigation of Scriptural doctrine
The purpose is not simply to produce another book for a shelf. The Scriptures are meant to be read, studied, understood, and lived.
Physical and Digital Truth Scriptures
Different readers study in different ways, so the Truth Scriptures are available in both physical and digital formats (Digital Collection of selected Books and App coming soon).
Physical editions provide a dedicated reading and study experience, while the digital Truth Scriptures collection makes it easier to search, reference, and study the text electronically.
The collection includes the Ta’anak (OT), Bariyt Hadash(NT), and Complete Truth Scriptures (available now to campaign package supporters at TSINFO.org), giving readers options based upon how they prefer to study.
Why the Truth Scriptures Are Different
Ultimately, the difference is found in the mission behind the project.
The Truth Scriptures were not created merely to produce another English translation.
They were developed from a desire to restore what has been obscured, investigate what has been altered through linguistic and religious tradition, preserve the Name of YAHUAH, examine the earliest available textual evidence, and present the Scriptures in clear modern English.
That work requires continually returning to the fundamental question:
What does the evidence actually show?
For those who have wondered whether there is more to Scripture than what they have encountered in conventional translations, the Truth Scriptures offer an invitation to investigate.
Don't simply accept something because it is familiar.
Study it. Compare it. Research it. Test it against the Scriptures.
The pursuit of Truth is worth the effort.
